The strange thing about writing, is the consistency.

The best authors tell you to set a goal for yourself daily. Word count, etc. I've tried that. Not so easy. lol.

For example. I'm working on the follow up book to Nothing More: Chains of Hope. I was powering through last week, then Friday I hit a wall. Sat down, and just couldn't wright. Made a few edits, but that was it.

I have found though, however, that writing is fun. I got back to writing this morning after 3 days of stalling. The words just flowed out of me. Once that began, it was fun again. Best advice I have seen, and heard, even from my father, is that if it feels like work, walk away. Come back when it feels like fun.

This morning, I had fun.

Nothing More: Uncharted (Book 2 of a 3 book series) is currently underway.

About writing.

Now, this may have been my first book published, but, that doesn't mean I am a best selling author. Why did I decide to write a book?

Simple.

I grew up basically a lonely child. My older brother was 7 years older than me, and was out of the house while I was still rather young (11). We lived on 16 acres of land, so running over to the neighbors house to play with johnny was not something that was feasible. I had to create my own adventures to keep myself busy.

So, I created my own worlds starting at the age of 12. As I grew up I became engrossed in the worlds of Star Wars, anything that had to do with 14th to 16th century. Good vs. Evil. Redemption. Redemption will probably always be a theme for me, if it isn't in one of my books, I was probably drinking while writing.

The world of Doron came from my childhood. They are characters I dreamed up. Some characters are not of course, because of the nature of the characters behaviors. They developed over time as I grew older, and was no longer gullible. The story, and world, are mine to live in. I put it on paper, so others could join me in this world. It will continue to grow of course, but for now, come with me to the world of Doron, and get to know who we will follow.
